Valley Christian Academy's Veronica Hudson was named the MVP of the Sacramento Metro Athletic League, and her coach, Shawnda Bowen was the league’s coach of the year in voting by the league's softball coaches.

Other Lions receiving the all-SMAL nod include Katlin Trask, Midori Bounds and Abbie Moore on the first team; Sharon Speegle and Brianna Flood on the second team; while Samantha Shoemake and Carly Gish received honorable mention.
