Burn permits suspended
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection recently announced the suspension of residential burn permits in Nevada, Yuba and Placer counties that are within the CAL FIRE jurisdiction. As a response to dry summer weather conditions, burn permits are usually banned around the first of July to prevent wildfires. Any fire or smoke reported by a resident will be considered a wildfire and fire crews will be dispatched to the scene. Citations will be issued to residents burning in violation of the suspension and may be responsible for recovering costs for firefighters. Wet weather later this year will lift the suspension. Were they burning their leaves and yard clippings before you moved in? or did they just start doing this recently?
Just as its inconsiderate to move next to an unincorporated part of town and expect them to follow all the same rules as you.
Just as its inconsiderate to move next to a train track and complain that the train blows its horn all the time, or move next to an airport and complain about all the noise. You failed to factor in things like this when you chose your house, I dont see how you can blame other people for this.
Actually I dont live there, and wouldnt. It is ignorant to say that it wasnt "disclosed during the purchase of my house". It is still your job to research the neighborhood and maybe even talk to some of the people in the neighborhood to figure these things out before you move in.
