Erwin Martinez, chief information officer for Rabobank, N.A. in Roseville was recently added to the list of the top 100 Hispanics in Information Technology.

Sponsored by the Hispanic IT Executive Council, the Top 100 Hispanics in Information Technology is an honor recognizing influential information technicians with Hispanic heritage.

Martinez, of Puerto Rican descent, was officially honored at the HITEC Executive Summit in October in Washington D.C. Martinez was selected by a panel of judges who looked at achievements in the industry, scope of responsibility, involvement in boards and diversity and position held to evaluate the nominees. Martinez previously worked for two other California banks as chief information officer and served as a senior IT executive and IT program director at an IT consulting firm. Serving on the board for the Peninsula and Marin County chapters of Rebuilding Together, Martinez offers his expertise to renovate and modify homes for low-income, elderly or disabled homeowners.. Martinez holds a bachelor of arts degree in administrative services from Yale University.
