Sabrina Ali had 12 points to lead Oakmont Thursday night.

The duo of Belle Obert and Madeline Campbell was just too much for the Oakmont High girls basketball team Thursday night.

Those two Del Oro scorers combined for 37 points as the Golden Eagles went into Oakmont’s gym to claim a 65-40 win.

The Lady Eagles scored 38 points in a high-scoring first half, and led by 18 points at the break as the game was essentially decided before intermission. Obert scored 20 points for Del Oro, and Campbell added 17, while Crystal Sewell chipped in with nine.

Sabrina Ali led the Vikings with 12 points, as Jessica Scott scored 10 and Shelby Kelch tossed in eight points.

Oakmont (1-8 in the SFL, 11-13 overall) visits Woodcreek (5-3, 16-7) Tuesday night. Del Oro (8-0, 19-2) is at Roseville (3-6, 9-14).
