Point guard Raina Loya scored 13 points for Roseville Thursday night at Rocklin.

Continuing to play the kind of basketball that earned it a win over Granite Bay Tuesday night, the Roseville High girls baskeball team dominated Rocklin on the road Thursday.

The Tigers held Rocklin to single-digit scoring in all three periods as they rolled to a 45-29 victory. Roseville opened a 10-7 lead after the opening quarter and extended the margin to 10 by the break, before carrying it home for a much-needed second straight win.

Point guard Raina Loya scored 13 points to complement an 18-point scoring night from center Katie Simon. Katie Summers and Megan Hanson each scored seven points to lead the Rocklin scoring.

Rocklin (3-6 in the SFL, 9-13 overall) is at Nevada Union (5-3, 12-10) Tuesday night, while the Tigers (3-6, 9-14) host Del Oro (8-0, 19-2).
